2017 Membership Dues

Its that time of year again! Please head over to Paxrivertri.com to pay your 2017 Membership dues. Dues are $35 for individuals and $55 for Families. If you already have an account from last year please logon prior to renewing your membership. This will prevent your from creating an additional account. Once login click “JOIN” on the top menu and select your desired membership.  You will then be taken to the registration page. Please fill out the required information and sign your 2017 PRTC Waiver. You will then be taken to PayPal to pay for your membership. Please let us know if you have any questions! Our 2017 goal is to grow the club from 35 to 50 members! Board of Directors Meeting

Our monthly BOD Meeting will be held at 6 PM on Tuesday, January 10 at the Coffee Quarter. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend! We will be discussing the 2017 Club budget, along with upcoming events. For 2017, all BOD meetings will be the 2nd Tuesday of the month, with locations TBD.

Yoga for Triathletes

Please join PRTC, along with Triathlete and Yoga instructor Michelle Tenczar, for an evening of Yoga for Triathletes. Learn the benefits of yoga for both pre- and post-workout to help balance the effects of swimming, biking and running on the body. The class date and time will be announced later this week. The class will be held at The Engery Zone on NAS PAX River. If you would like to attend but don’t have base access, please let us know so we can set up a carpool for getting on base.  Please RSVP on our Facebook event page at (coming soon) or via email to paxrivertriathlon@gmail.com.

Spin @ Salt Cycle Studio

Join us at Salt Cycle studio on Saturday, January 28 at 10:15 AM for an hour-long, instructor led spin class, followed by coffee and bagels! The Class is $12 and must be paid beforehand to Maggie Doyle or Jerry Barnett. Bike Maintenance Class @ PAC

Join us for an evening at Patuxent Adventure Center (PAC) to learn how to change road-side flats and conduct basic bicycle maintenance by yourself! The event is free and starts at 7:00 PM, right after the shop closes. Great Mills Pool $4 or $60 for 24 Punch Pass

Hours – Public Swim
Monday – Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Sundays 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Designated Lap Swim Time
M, W, F (Early Bird) 6:00 – 8:00 a.m.
T, Th 8:00 – 10:00 a.m.
Sat 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Member Spotlight

Jingle Bell Run- Kerry Ritchie, Brian and Maggie Doyle ran the Solomons Jingle Bell Run on December 3rd. It was a windy run, but was great to see PRTC members out there cheering the runners on!

Congratulations to Mark Deluca. He ran the Pat Suit Memorial 5k on Nov 5 and placed 1st in his Division with a PR time of 21:29! Way to go Mark!!
